The temperature is falling and first snowfalls have hit the resorts. There has been huge Club interest and Christiana is fully booked for this week. Should be loads of fun and healthy rivalry on the Rossignol race course situated besides Snowgums! A great opportunity for all to try something new on the snow!
The week starts On Tuesday August 3 with a training event where Thredbo instructors will provide coaching for all on skiing a racecourse. There will be five different events from Wednesday to Friday and plenty of free ski time for the highly competitive to practice or for those just wanting to ski at a more leisurely pace.
Focus is on all ages participating & having fun and there will be no additional costs this year for you to participate in the racing events. If you would like to attend and are not staying at Christiana, please call well in advance to make sure you get on the start list.
On Saturday August 7, Southern Alps will be participating in the Thredbo Interclub event being a more competitive event between all Thredbo lodges. Arthur Owens is managing our participation in this invitation only event that will see our highly trained ski racers compete, together with a few places reserved for Race Week racers showing potential. Spectators are welcome to cheer on our team in pursuit of the Interclub Cup that we do regularly win!
